We are continuing our mini updates.
As previously mentioned, the Oz region transport ship has arrived and we can report that the process has moved along in that region! Aetherworks will be handling the shipping to Australia and New Zealand and they will start shipping packages on 19th October. They should complete the task on 23rdOctober. Aetherworks will e-mail backers at the start of the process and tracking will be provided by Auspost.
There’s more! VFI tell us that they will start shipping packages to Asia and the Middle East next week.
As a reminder, here is the info for the other ships:
SHIP to UK: EXPRESS BERLIN - ETA 13 Oct.
SHIP to US: HELSINKI BRIDGE - ETA 27 Oct.
The solo rulebook is written, we are just adding diagrams and doing the layout. It will be ready to show you soon.
You are almost out of time to update your addresses. Addresses are locked in the PM. Contact support, ask us to change your address and we’ll do our best. If you think you may move but are not sure of the date or new address, we urge you to deliver your rewards to more stable location: family, friends, work, etc.
Remember, once the hubs start packing and sending your rewards, we cannot change your address.

Hello Heroes!
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian backers, we’ll be enjoying our turkey today. Here is another micro update.
Légion Distribution are our French distributors. It’s through great relationships like this that we can create the translated versions of the game so quickly. We air-shipped a single copy of the game to them so they can prepare for their upcoming retail release.
We were not sure what they planned to do, but we know distributing a new game is a lot of work. We guessed they would be thinking about adverts, showing it to their retail partners, get ready for demos, etc. Doing whatever they need to do generate excitement for a new entry in their product line. But they really surprised us!

I was really excited to see this as I don’t have a copy yet. The game looks lovely. We have shown many pictures of the production components, but it’s so different when you see all the parts assembled into a game! The only bad news is that I don’t speak French.
You can take a look at Légion Distribution here on their Facebook page, to see other products they sell and follow their plans to roll out Dark Rituals, once they get the rest of their stock later. They will receive their retail stock after we complete fulfillment in Europe.

Expect many short updates from here on in. As soon as we get firm information from our fulfillment partners, we’ll pass it on to you.
We have the names of our transport vessels:
SHIP to UK: EXPRESS BERLIN - ETA 13 Oct.

SHIP to AU: COSCO HONG KONG - Arrived!
We have contacted Aetherworks, but they have not responded yet. This makes us think that the shipment to them is still in customs as it has only just arrived. We’ll respond as soon as we have more info.

Hello Heroes!
Manufacturing has finished, all boxes are packed and are on pallets, everything is on the move!
Our packages are on 3 ships heading to different locations:
AU: ETA at the dock is September 26. Aetherworks will handle fulfillment.
EU: ETA at the dock is October 10. Gamesquest will handle fulfillment.
US: ETA at the dock is October 20. Quartermaster will handle fulfillment.
Asia: VFI is handling fulfillment and we are currently shipping via truck to the VFI warehouse. They have a long queue of games to deliver ahead of us and we are bugging them for more info. The last info we have from them is that they will begin to ship Dark Rituals in early October. This may change, so think of this as an estimate.
Until recently, we had little impact from Covid-19. We are now seeing problems. The Chinese ports are incredibly busy at the moment and this caused delays loading our shipments. Another small wrinkle is that we do not know the exact ships we are on. We know that some people like to track the boats and will pass the names on once we have them.
What next? When they arrive, the packages will have to be offloaded from the boats, clear customs, be moved to the fulfillment hubs, repacked and then sent out. If you have backed many KS project, you know the timeline, typically a week in customs, a week to repack and then 3-5 weeks to complete fulfillment.
However, there is a lot of uncertainty in these trying times. Flu season is starting soon and many locales are seeing increasing Covid-19 cases as schools and businesses re-open. Who knows what will happen in October and November? Not us, for sure. We are not making predictions on when you will see your games. We expect that some of you will see little disruption and will be playing in late October/November and that others will not be so lucky. We understand last minute delays will be frustrating, but remember, the personal safety of all these workers is important.
We will do our best to get timely information from all our partners and pass it on to you as soon as we can.
Save the Date: on 20th September we will lock addresses in the PM. You can log into Backerkit to change your delivery address up to this point. Don’t forget! If you move after this date, contact support and ask us to change your address. We’ll do our best, but at some point this will not be possible. If you think you may move but will not know until after 20th September, we urge you to arrange to deliver your rewards to a more stable location: family, friends, work, etc. Enter that new address before 20th September.

Welcome Witch Masters!
We have great news from the factory: production is almost complete. They are at the final boxing and packing stage. To be honest, there has been a slight delay, but with all the problems around the world, we are really pleased with their progress.
They even took some pictures of their work. Most of these are stacks of thin printed sheets. Don’t worry, any curves in these sheets will be removed when the paper is laminated to the stiffer core used for cards and map tiles.
We also have a video of the miniatures packing line. I am surprised how many people they have working on this process!
The final picture is an old one that did not get to me in time for use in the earlier update. It's a close up of the cards from the package that was sent to us for final approval.
The manufacturer says everything will be on pallets for shipping in the first week of September, very close now. We would like to remind you to log in to your BackerKit PM surveys and check your shipping address and update it if necessary while you still can.
We are using 4 shipping hubs: Asia, Australia-NZ, US-Canada-South America, and EU-RoW. We expect Asia & Australia-NZ to start fulfillment by the end of September, and the other hubs will start shortly after that. We will give more details (hopefully exact dates) once we have the pallets on the transport vessels.
Digital deliverables are coming along nicely, for example, all the solo Encounters have been created and play tested. We are finalizing the stories, wording and images, then we will play them one last time. All this will be ready in time for delivery.
